Sarah was a huge fan of the stage at a very young age, while still attending high school. The passion for acting began when the drama teacher she was with saw her jogging across the lawn so she could make it to field hockey practice in time. He advised her that she was able to skip rehearsal to be part of Richard III's acting troupe. Sarah discovered her love for acting and decided to pursue a double major of English as well as theatre during her time at Hamilton College. The college was educated in Europe in Oxford as well as London throughout her junior year and graduated with an honorary magnacum laude. After Hamilton was over, she enrolled in Yale Drama School. The passion she had for studying the arts was aided by her parents. Her mother was as Chairperson in the English Department at the Convent of the Sacred Heart located in Greenwich CT and her father who was a master artist.
