Alicia Malone

The year 2015 saw Alicia undergo the interview process to join FilmStruck which is a TCM streaming service. Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions were recorded by Malone so that she could practice reading them aloud before the camera ahead of her TCM live broadcasting audition. In 2017, she auditioned for the Turner Classic Movies presenter position. The company hired her on January 1, 2018. Malone discussed the difficulties women face in the movie industry two times in TEDx presentations. To avoid being delayed for practice in the field and to avoid being late for field-hockey, her drama instructor told her that she should not practice and instead being part of the cast in Richard III.
